Affiliate disclosure
We want to be completely open about how this website may make money.
What an affiliate link is
Some links on Global Hotel Discount may be affiliate links. These are links to booking, comparison or travel websites (for example hotel booking sites, flight comparison sites or travel insurance providers). If you click one and then make a booking, the company may pay us a small commission.
What it means for you
- You don't pay more. The commission comes from the company, not from you, and the price you see is the same as if you had gone to the site directly.
- It doesn't change our advice. We write our guides first and decide what to recommend on its merits. We regularly suggest checking a hotel's own website, too, even though we earn nothing from that.
- You don't have to use our links. You are always free to go straight to any website yourself.
How we label partner links
Links to booking and comparison partners are marked in our code as sponsored links, and pages that contain them show a short disclosure line near the top and next to the links.
Current status
As of October 2026, we are still setting up our partner programmes, so the partner buttons on the site are currently ordinary links that earn us nothing. This page will be updated as programmes go live.
